About East Manchester CT
East Manchester CT (EMCT) is part of the Manchester CT (MCT) social enterprise operating in the East Manchester and the wider area. EMCT provides affordable accessible transport for Community Groups, Schools and individuals.
Priority is given to bookings made by community groups and individuals that are socially excluded or find it difficult or impossible to use conventional public transport.
Up to four accessible sixteen seat vehicles are available; Groups can make arrangements to use one of EMCT’s minibuses to travel to any destination on the mainland of the United Kingdom. EMCT operates a MiDAS bursary scheme for eligible Community Groups that use its buses on a regular basis.
Larger groups can use several minibuses or book EMCT’s seventy seater accessible coach.
Schools can book from 16 seater minibuses to 67 seat yellow school buses and a 70 seater coach for recreational and educational trips.
Midas and PCV D1 driver training is provided on your site if required.
