Eligibility criteria

Groups – Not for profit/Faith/Charitable/Statutory organisations

Dial a Ride users – people who have difficulty using other forms of transport

Promobility users – people who have temporary or permanent mobility difficulty enabling easier access to the Oldham Town Centre area

Drivers must be aged between 25-70 holding a clean current UK Driving licence + current MiDAS certificate

About Community Transport Oldham

Dial A Ride

The service provides door to door accessible transport usually within the borough. All the minibuses are wheelchair accessible and bookings can be made up to two weeks in advance. To use Dial-a-ride you must be a member. Please call us for more details.

Group Travel

Minibuses are available for use by 'not for profit' organisations in Oldham who must join our project as members. You can hire or supply your own driver – training available on request. Prices depend on type of driver, length of hire and distance travelled plus a daily rate.

Promobility (Shopmobility)

Providing a range of manual and electric powered wheelchairs & mobility scooters for hire to access all the facilities in Oldham town centre. Please call us for membership details and registration ID requirements. A member of our friendly staff will show you how to use the wheelchair or scooter if required.
