About Bolton CT & Furniture Services (BCTFS)
BCTFS is a community based not-for-profit organisation; a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
The principal aims of our organisation are to provide a low cost transport and short break holiday service to socially excluded individuals and groups. With our minibus fleet of 5 vehicles, we provide fully accessible, door-to-door transport for the elderly, disabled and other individuals and groups.
In order to achieve this we collect, display and deliver donated and reusable goods for resale at affordable prices for those in need. We operate two furniture showrooms, where donated furniture is displayed. Surplus revenue from our furniture division is used to supplement our minibus services.
We operate using a mixture of full and part time employees, volunteers and back to work placements.
We provide a training and testing facility for volunteer minibus drivers to MiDAS Standard.
